Welcome to Booklicity!
At Booklicity, we know book blogs and we want to help authors find the book blogs that best fit their books. To get the most out of your online reviews, it is important to carefully match books to reviewers and their audiences. Why should you use your valuable writing time to research book blogs, when you can enlist the help of someone who already knows book blogs? That someone is Booklicity.
Booklicity was founded by Jen Karsbaek from Devourer of Books. As a book blogger myself, I know how to work with book bloggers, which is not true of all publicists. Frequent complaints that I and other book bloggers have are pitches for books that do not fit our blogs, pitches for book tours that are just a couple of weeks away, and pitches that completely ignore our review policies. As a member of the community myself, I can not only find the book blogs that best fit your book, but I also know how to pitch bloggers so they will be more likely to accept a copy of your book for review. Many publicists have a limited list of blogs to whom they pitch, but at Booklicity we maintain an exclusive database of book blogs and are constantly looking for the next great book blogs. The result is that we have a deep pool of blogs to select from, and are able to choose the blogs that best match an individual book or author. Sure, we could always go to the same big blogs, but if they are not a good fit, their audiences are likely not good fits either, and placing your book there might not be your best option.Booklicity would love to help you use book blogs to best promote your book.
